Airport Breakfast

Had to ask for a morning glass of champagne because it’s at a lounge and it’s free.

Butterman Pastries

They’re definitely hotter than your man, and have the taste to match. The queues are definitely crazy in their main store in Canggu, but fortunately they’ve opened up branches in other places and Indonesian cities – can’t say whether those are good though, I haven’t tried the other branches.

Breakfast at the Keiunkan

Given the hotel’s remote location, prestige and price to match, I’d be remiss if I didn’t show what they served for breakfast. Such a complete Japanese spread, and yes, there is rice cooking in the small pot towards the back.

Galette au Fromage and Pain au Chocolat

Came back for breakfast. Pricey but delicious and the owners were wonderful.

Breakfast @ Komeda’s Coffee

Came here from a friend’s suggestion, and was attracted by their breakfast special – free toast, egg/red beans and jam with any drink. Generous offer, but we added a few things we wanted to try. A repeat of the Viennese coffee along with yoghurt and honey was a good choice, but my traveling companions were drawn to the salad and the tasty dressing. Unfortunately after the some questions and requests, there was no way to buy a bottle of their (apparently original) salad dressing to take home.

“Waffle Party” Breakfast

Delicious Natto

Some people see a stinky, mucus-like spoiled beans on rice, I see a tasty, healthy side that adds depth of flavor to the traditional Japanese breakfast. From the breakfast spread at the Hilton.

Indoors 6 – Breakfast

Scrambled eggs with chives, sliced avo with sambal on brioche toast, mug chocolate cake.
