开水 → Kāi Shuǐ → Boiled Water
It may be the more basic of drinks, but it does bring a good feeling in the morning. It’s probably due to me not frequently living through the winter season, but I guess boiled water felt way more nourishing than it ever did with colder days. It’s quite common in many countries, including China, for doctors to recommend drinking lots of warm/boiled water when you are sick, though it still helps when you are just fine. Pick up a cup in the morning, and you’ll see the difference.
