努力 → Nǔ Lì → Strive (try hard)

Studying and living in a country that practices a new language (to me) is challenging. Half the time people struggle to understand what you are saying, the other half they just give up, which is why studying the language while here is not just means to strive in class, but also strive to practice and understand outside of class. My target: come home and have the knowledge to say “我学习很努力”.
