礼貌 → Lǐ Mào → Manners (courtesy, politeness)
With pressure mounting from many sides, and the fact that today is a hump day, keeping cool is still important. I find that after gathering around other people from other countries for a while, you start to notice that this becomes a challenge, but not in a way you might have already thought. With friends from other countries of customs, what you find to be acceptable or sometimes even friendly in your tradition, would be quite insulting when you expose it to your, say, American friend.
While it is interesting to see the differences and contrasts in these traditions and acceptable manners, it makes maintaining the peace slightly more difficult for me.
