怕 → Pà → Fear (be afraid)
Starting life in a strange country can be unsettling for some people, including me. Is it just me, or does people in China seems like they’re about to pick a fight when they talk? Behaviour likes this gives quite a fearful sensation, hence why I’m quite afraid of what’s to come. Being alone abroad is one thing, being alone abroad in a communist country which censors most western media websites (I had to get another VPN service to properly use WP’s editor) and has a thick language barrier is another.
That being said, I’m still getting by, and I hope that my learning opportunity can turn this fear into a beneficial opportunity of extending my knowledge, though I’d most certainly be keeping my stance against media censorship, no matter which government or policies they exercise.
